Ana is a Spanish native, originally from Madrid, who has been living in the UK since 2003. She has over 10 years of experience in the publishing and media industries, having worked as a translator, editor, writer, and linguistic consultant.

Ana, who holds two degrees in history, has done many translations, and written articles for various organizations, including work for the International Vegetarian Union, Cadenza Academic Translation, and Aglatech 14, for which she translated and edited academic articles in history, anthropology, political science, and sociology. She has translated and edited documents for the European Union, Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development, World Health Organization, and United Nations.

Ana has also worked as a linguistic consultant for MTV Networks, VH1, ABC, Disney, and ITV, including for such TV programs as "The Oprah Winfrey’s Show" and "The View."


Ana earned her MA in translation from Salford University in the United Kingdom in 2009. She received her Postgraduate Certificate in Education, specializing in history, from Complutense University of Madrid (Spain) in 2011, and her BA in history from Complutense University in 2001. Ana also received translation certificates from Trados Studio Certification, SDL (2012), and for Literary Translation from Cálamo y Cran in Madrid (2011), as well as a Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language certification from Cálamo y Cran (2004).
